Joana Amendoeira
“Joana Amendoeira” is the homonym title for the third album which is the first in adulthood. Of the thirteen songs interpreted, eleven are traditional fados with original poems.
This album explores, in addition to the accompaniment of the Portuguese guitar, by Custódio Castelo, the viola de fado, Carlos Manuel Proença and the acoustic bass, by Marino de Freitas, the cello sound, by Vicente Shuaqui, in the beautiful song “Amor mais Perfeito” in which José Fontes Rocha participated in the Portuguese guitar. It featured Carlos Manuel Proença’s music production and Aldina Duarte’s co-production and repertoire research.
